Toyota, always there for you ...

I must admit that it was with utter horror that I walked out of the dorms I am staying at with Kylie in the downpoor in my garbage bag with a hoody. Yes I knew I was going to be visiting two the the wetest places in the world and in all fairness I went to pack my umbrella only to remember that I had lend both of them to to cause of preserving Krista's bridal parties hair. Yes perhaps if I had packed sooner than the night before I could have found another one. But as the above described incident explains that was not the case. Don't worry though I did not get wet : )
My travels could not have gone smoother and I was only 4 minutes late meeting Kylie at the station. It was so good to see her ... she is looking great.
We are staying at the University her and her friend Emer are attending their conference at. A very small single bed that we somehow managed to make it through the night in .. I think that I had pushed that detail out of my head.
We had a wonderful dinner in a tea house and then watched Harry Potter in the biggest theatre I have ever seen. It was the freaking Jack Singer ... seriously. Running on four hours of sleep I had to fight the heavy eyes with all my strength.
Went for a run up past the Cathedral to the top of a cemetary. There were roses and cobblestone, incredible intricate memorial stones and crosses, wonderful views and smells. It was the perfect way to start the first day of my adventure.
The people here are all very friendly but hard to understand. I have been told that people from Glasgow have a very distinct dialect. They say 'hiya' when they greet you and have alternative names for everything.
I spent the rest of the day touring the city and exlporing a couple art galleries and museums. Some really amazing and cool exhibits. I feel in love with Maragaret Macleods work. I have some great pics but you are not allowed to remove them at this cafe.
One of my favorite parts of the day was spying on a set of 90'something twins in the museum. They did everything in unison and were absolutly enthraled with the stuffed white goose. I found myself smiling at people all day and taking pleasure in others journey. It is going to be a great trip.
I need food. I have been so excited all day I have not wanted to waste a minute eating. I should probably go purchase an umbrella as well.
Hope you all are well

Hi H
Glad you arrived safely and are having such a wonderful time. I was out of breath after our run. I could feel the rain on my upturned face. Are you learning a new language and will we be able to understand you when you return to us? I love to read about your adventures. I won't have to go on holidays at all this year. I will just travel with you.
Big Hugs and be safe

I am doing my best to find the good things in my life and cherish them. I love deeply. I laugh hard (so hard I sometimes snort). I still dream and believe that dreams are meant to be followed. I try to depend on God. I have so much to learn. I hope.
