Wigs and houses made of ginger and bread ...

Make yourself familiar with the angels, and behold them frequently in spirit; for without being seen, they are present with you.
- Francis de Sales, 1567 - 1622

They hide their brilliantly white down wings, and do not allow the world to see the shimmer of their golden hallows ... but there is no question in my mind that they are angels. They make my heart swell with love and my chest fill with warmth.

The four car caravan making its way through the snow and the cold from the Haugrud home back to Calgary tonight was filled with happy hearts, full tummies, and minds dancing with the memories of another Sunday night filled with all good things. I was once again so blessed to be included in Kirst's families Christmas set-up celebration. The food, the love, the laughter, the family. Thank you never ever seems like enough.

I want to write about all the little wonders that stuck to my heart from tonight but my eyes are heavy and it is going to be an early morning to try and make it to work on time. It is COLDDDDDDDDD! -22 was the number my shivering little civic madly blinked at me. Like it was saying "I should never have to display such temperatures!"

Erin sent me two new fabulous wigs that are going to make my holiday season so sassy. Pictures are in order.

G'night my friends. Hope you are all warmly nestled in your beds dreaming sweet dreams.

My photo
I am doing my best to find the good things in my life and cherish them. I love deeply. I laugh hard (so hard I sometimes snort). I still dream and believe that dreams are meant to be followed. I try to depend on God. I have so much to learn. I hope.
